A Warwickshire cleaning company swept aside the competition to
secure a major contract with dental equipment firm, A-Dec.
Bowdraper, based in Leamington, is an established contract
cleaning company and completed a deal to service the Oregon-based
business' UK office in Nuneaton after it emerged that both are
members of the Coventry and Warwickshire Chamber of Commerce.
Emily Jessup, Business Development Manager at Bowdraper, said:
"We tried a couple of times to contact A-Dec about a deal, but
struggled to get past the front door.
"Once we learned we were both members of the chamber, things got
a lot easier. They encouraged A-Dec to get involved and really
helped us seal the deal.
"We are by no means a new company, but only recently became a
member of the Chamber and already we are seeing that it is a major
benefit."
Ciaran Hynes, Operations Manager at A-Dec, added: "The fact that
Bowdraper were members of the Chamber was not a deal-maker on its
own, but it certainly gave us confidence, as we knew we were
dealing with an established company who we could trust."
Christine Stobbs is a customer relationship manager at the
Chamber and is delighted such an agreement was reached.
"It is always pleasing when two members are able to do business
because that is what we are all about," she said.
"We are always looking for ways to get local businesses working
together, so this is a real success story for us."
