Another major coup for Shropshire will be revealed next month at
the ExCel exhibition and conference centre in London's Docklands,
when a new oral care solution created by one of the county's
leading dentists is launched onto the UK market.
CB12, which has a unique patented composition that actively
neutralises and prevents the substances that cause bad breath, will
make its grand entrance at the country's premier dental exhibition,
Dental Showcase 2010, from October 14th to 16th.
With more than twelve thousand dental professionals expected to
attend the three-day event, and over 300 companies from the UK and
abroad likely to exhibit, the venue provides an ideal platform for
inventor Dr Thomas Norlin D.D.S., Odont. Lic to introduce his
product.
Dr Norlin, who is based at The Dental Spa on Oxon Business Park
in Shrewsbury,is the creator of CB12.It was decided to market the
product in the UK after The Dental Spa became the hub practice for
Velvet Group last year.
Dr Norlin began his research work on the product after becoming
frustrated by mouthwash solutions that relied on strong smells and
flavourings to disguise bad breath rather than actually
neutralising it. "In nearly all cases," he says, "bad breath has
its origins in the mouth and is as a result of poor oral hygiene,
inflammation of the gums - gingivitis, loosening of the teeth -
periodontitis, or dryness of the mouth."
"Food remnants stuck in the oral cavities between the teeth and
at the back of the tongue create bacteria which in turn produce
sulphurous gases known as Volatile Sulphur Compounds (VSCs). It is
these gases that cause bad breath. Additionally some medicines, and
also stress, can cause a reduction in saliva production which
results in bad breath."
"Unlike a lot of other products, by chemically binding itself to
tissues in the oral cavity CB12 neutralises and prevents the
production of the VSCs that cause bad breath. CB12 can be used by
anyone over 8 years of age. A single dose remains effective in
keeping the breath fresh for twelve hours, so if you use it before
you go to bed you can even wake up with fresh breath in the
morning."
Following the launch CB12 will be available to Dentists through
an online shop, with members of the general public being directed
to their nearest dentist stockist.
…… Think you might have bad breath but aren't
sure? Simply lick your wrist, let the saliva dry and then smell the
wrist after a few seconds.
