The UK's leading premium holiday park owner, Lifestyle Living
Group, has rescued a number of prime Lincolnshire holiday
destinations by buying three caravan parks out of
administration.
In deals totalling £3 million, the Group, which is
renowned for its rural UK holiday and residential parks, has
acquired the Little Haven Caravan Park and The Willows Caravan Park
in Chapel St Leonards, and The White Horse Caravan Park in
Metheringham.
The caravan parks, which total just over eight acres and have
space for around 126 caravan pitches, will remain as caravan
holiday parks, but will be transformed into more luxurious
destinations by Lifestyle Living Group. It will now begin to
develop the parks to bring them in line with the other luxury
holiday park locations within its portfolio, using funds from its
£10 million investment group programme.
"The Lincolnshire coast and its thousands of acres of splendid
countryside ensure that the county has retained its charm over the
years, remaining a magnet for UK tourists and indeed retired
couples," explains Lifestyle Living Group's owner and chairman,
Tony Barney.
"We are seeking to expand our park portfolio in Lincolnshire
further, and we welcome direct approaches from park owners looking
to sell or even those looking for a joint venture partner."
Tony has over 30 years of experience in the holiday parks market
and currently owns a portfolio of holiday and residential parks
featuring luxury locations from the Lake District in the north, to
Weston-Super-Mare in the west and Norfolk, Suffolk, Essex and now
Lincolnshire in the east. His vision is to offer holidaymakers
unrivalled luxury at each Lifestyle Living Group park. A recent
example of the realisation of this vision is the four star rating
given to Lifestyle Living Group's country park in Saxmundham -
'Carlton Meres' by VisitEngland.
Lifestyle Living Group expects that the three acquisitions will
create around 10 new jobs in Lincolnshire across the
parks.
The purchase of the three Lincolnshire caravan parks - Lifestyle
Living Group's fourth significant group of deals in as many months,
was advised on by law firm Hallow Associates and accountants Grant
Thornton.
