wedding day at the Heart of England Conference and Events

A pair of newlyweds are set to return to the site of their
wedding to help other soon-to-be-hitched couples plan their own
special day.
Maura and Dean Chambers, from Coundon, will revisit the Heart of
England Conference and Events Centre, in Fillongley near Coventry,
on Sunday, October 3 as the venue hosts a special wedding
fayre.
Aside from all the usual attractions of a wedding fayre, the
pair will be on site to share their experiences of getting married
in the picturesque grounds just a few weeks previously.
The fayre, which is free to attend, will run between midday and
4pm and feature stalls from suppliers such as florists,
photographers, hair stylists and make-up artists.
There will also be a live fashion show from Nuneaton-based
bridalwear company R&R Bridalwear.
Maura said she was delighted to have been invited back and was
looking forward to sharing her experiences with visitors.
"My wedding dress is due back from the cleaners just before the
wedding fayre, but I'm not sure if I should wear it to the event!"
she said.
"Before we had decided to get married we had been to the Quicken
Tree Restaurant at the venue and we had always thought it would be
a really nice place to have a wedding.
"It has everything, countryside views, a beautiful marquee and a
relaxing environment.
"The most important thing was that we really enjoyed the day,
which I think a lot of couples struggle to do with the stress of
the occasion, but the organisers ensured everything ran really
smoothly and all of the guests said what a great day they had.
"My daughter, Sinead, and I even stayed at the Old Hall House
the night before the wedding, which was lovely, and really took
some of the stress away."
Melanie Kerkeni, Sales and Business Development Manager at the
Heart of England Conference and Events Centre, said she was pleased
that Maura and Dean had agreed to return to the venue and share
their experiences with others.
"The event on Sunday, October 3 promises to be a great occasion
offering couples the chance to have a look around our stunning
venue and meet a wide variety of wedding exhibitors," she said.
"There will also be the opportunity for couples reserving their
wedding date with us to take advantage of some great savings if
they place their bookings on the day of the fayre.
"When planning a wedding, there is nothing better than advice
from somebody who has recently been through the experience
themselves, and that is why we are so pleased that Dean and Maura
have agreed to return to pass on their knowledge."
