Midlands' law firm Harvey Ingram and bank giant HSBC host a
joint seminar to highlight current challenges faced by businesses
involved in international trade.
Harvey Ingram Partner Simon Bates, will outline how to overcome
legal issues and will tackle everything from contracts and
agreements, to agents and distributors, competition law, valid
trading restrictions and safguarding intellectual
property.
He will be followed by HSBC Global Markets Manager Guy Phelan,
who will give a brief update on UK, European and World economies.
He will also outline current predictions for interest and foreign
exchange rates, along with the risks posed to international
businesses.
Phill Potter, HSBC Regional International Commercial Manager,
will highlight key and critical challenges before outlining the
solutions for businesses determined to safeguard and protect their
profitable overseas trading arrangements.
The seminar will be informal, interactive and straightforward
with question and answer sessions after the presentations. It gets
underway at 7.45am. A breakfast buffet will be provided and the
morning will be an excellent networking opportunity for all. Places
