One of the biggest office lettings along the M42 corridor this
year has been completed at Studley Point, Warwickshire where over
half of the office development (10,175 sq ft) has been let to
sustainable and renewable energy group ENER-G PLC.
The Redditch based group of companies - CMR Energy Consultants,
ENER-G Procurement and ENER-G Metering & Data Solutions - is
relocating to Studley Point, which boasts the highest quality
suites in the area. Now just four suites remain ranging from
1,566 sq ft to 5,390 sq ft.
Despite the economic downturn, the ENER-G businesses -
specialising in energy procurement, energy efficiency, renewable
and sustainable energy technologies such as heat pumps, and local
combined heat and power generation - have experienced substantial
growth leading to additional employment in the area.
For employees, managing director Dr Cedric Rodrigues said:
"We've made a significant commitment to the Studley Point offices
because it provides good quality comfort conditions for the
occupiers. Equally, it demonstrates ENER-G's capability in
energy management with the latest in high efficiency lighting and
intelligent, IT based control systems which will reduce energy
costs and CO2 emissions substantially."
For customers, the company has invested in state of the art
energy technologies including real time, online energy purchasing
tools, smart metering, data solutions and 'plug n play' building
energy management systems (bems), which will enhance customer
offerings and experiences.
The flagship 20,166 sq ft Studley Point development on
Birmingham Road, Studley is the result of a major transformation by
joint venture partners Folkes Holdings and Trigram Properties.
With air-conditioning throughout, it also offers extensive car
parking with 111 spaces (1:182 sq ft) plus room to expand.
Businesses also have the option to benefit from a range of
exceptional data hosting resources.
Its location and accessibility are extremely attractive too,
being close to J3 of the M42 and just a few minutes' walk from
local shops and amenities.
It is the perfect location for professional firms explained
Trigram director Bill Houle.
"ENER-G joins Masefield Architects at a location attractive to
professional companies due to its high quality, accessibility, good
value for money and excellent IT communication links.
"In today's market this is a significant deal and a major coup
for Studley Point. It is testament to its accessibility and
high quality specification as the only newly refurbished office in
the Bromsgrove and Redditch area."
"We are also in detailed discussions with several other
prospective tenants."
