Communications agency drpgroup has become one of the few
businesses in the UK to receive the Investors in People Silver
Award. Having previously held the Bronze Award, the drpgroup was
accredited with the silver standard after exceeding the necessary
evidence requirements during an assessment at the beginning of
September.
Launched in 1991, Investors in People offers a business
improvement tool designed to help all kinds of organisations
develop performance. The initiative aims to increase the
productivity of the UK economy by improving the way that
organisations manage, develop and reward their people. As part of
the drpgroup's 30th anniversary targets to achieve 30 awards and
accreditations, the board of directors were committed to ensuring
they maintained the high standards of employee engagement, reward
and recognition which had seen the group enjoy Investors in People
Accreditation for so long.
Commenting on the award, group managing director Dale Parmenter
said: "The most important thing for us about receiving this award
is that it demonstrates we are continuing to improve on the already
high standards of team satisfaction we set for ourselves. It is now
up to us to continue to develop our approach and next target the
Investors in People Gold Award."
Investors in People assessor Julie Cowmeadow wrote in her report
on the drpgroup: "The group has a clearly defined vision
