Rising demand for advice from web-savvy clients has prompted
Midlands' law firm Harvey Ingram to make more legal services fully
interactive, by plugging them into the internet.
This includes a landlords' on-line fixed-fee claim service
offered on a stage-by-stage basis for evictions and re-possessions,
plus on-line debt recovery for sums of up to £25,000.
Services are offered on an innovative fixed-fee basis to give
clients an attractive pay-as-they-go service.
Given the sensitive nature of many clients' business, a big
investment has been made by the firm to ensure its new website is
fully PCI (Payment Card Industry) compliant and offers protection
for all users opting to pay for their legal services online.
Chris Saul, Harvey Ingram partner and head of the firm's Dispute
Resolution team, says: "We've developed this site directly from
client feedback and suggestions. It has been deliberately pared
down to help ensure our pages are clear, straightforward and to the
point - largely reflecting our working ethos.
"The site's already proving very popular and we are looking at
expanding it even further with a broader range of on-line services.
Plenty more initiatives are in the pipeline - just watch this
cyberspace."
The new site was designed and developed by Leicester-based new
media agency Eazytiger.
Eazytiger account manager Josh McCarthy said: "Harvey Ingram
online is a significant initiative from an innovative law firm. It
was a technical and design challenge to give the customer
experience both clarity and confidence, whilst maintaining legal
integrity. The result is a great looking website which makes the
customer experience simple and straightforward."
