Gallan Parking has created a 148 space open car parking facility
in Birmingham city centre - its third in the city in less than six
months.
The 1.3 acres site on the former Typhoo factory in Digbeth
offers all day, security patrolled, pay and display parking for
just £2.20 - one of the most competitive rates currently
available.
Since it was established just 12 months ago Gallan Parking - a
subsidiary of property specialists Gallan Group has created more
than 400 new car parking spaces in the city centre by utilising
derelict land or sites awaiting development.
Last month (December) Gallan Parking also opened a 370 space
facility in Leamington Spa, adjacent to the train station offering
all day parking for just £2.00.
"We are not only providing cost effective parking for shoppers,
workers, visitors and commuters, but also transforming unsightly
and unused pockets of land into new income streams for the owners,"
said Phillip Grant, Gallan Parking Managing Director.
Nationally the company has a portfolio in excess of 2,000 spaces
in locations including Coventry, Manchester, Sheffield, Norwich and
Worthing in Sussex.
Phillip Grant added: "Our car parks represent very good value
for money and I am sure people appreciate having friendly and
welcoming staff."
Gallan worked in partnership with Charles Gillett of Pennycuick
Collins to develop the site which is owned by The Gooch Estate.
