Stratford company Special EFX, internationally acclaimed for its
bespoke trophies and awards, is set to take the sector to new
heights, with the introduction of an exclusive service offering
hand-made, contemporary art-glass trophies to businesses and
organisations.
Renowned for its innovative design and quality of manufacture,
EFX believes that this highly individual and artisan approach to

The company, which designs and manufactures its awards and
trophies in the UK, works closely with the client to reflect the
core elements of the brief and, using a variety of specialised
glass techniques, creates stunning effects. Of particular interest,
for recognition awards, is the sculpting of the molten glass into
human forms, whilst the layering of colours through the glass gives
each piece an intriguing, inner depth. In fact the options
are infinite, with each piece taking its own journey. The
finished awards can then be engraved, in order to complete the
personalisation process.
Special EFX has just completed its first commission for
ISS UK, one of the world's largest facility service providers.
The company wanted to recognise the outstanding performance
of its staff, with a personalised, unique piece of art and felt
EFX's offering ticked all their boxes. One of the deserving winners
was David Field, Head of Procurement with ISS Facility Services,
Healthcare who, speaking after the event, said: "The award was a
