Leicestershire-based Stash Sportswear has appointed former Rugby
League international Jason Critchley to the new role of sales
director, with responsibility for developing a worldwide sales
operation.
Jason was a professional Rugby Union player and coach for 16
years, and has eleven Rugby League caps for Wales - experience that
makes him a great fit with the brand, which has built itself a
strong reputation for high performance, radically styled rugby
clothing and leisure wear.
Jason is the latest of several strategic new appointments and he
has joined Stash at a time when it is pushing forward with its
ambitions to build its sales in the UK and overseas markets, and
also developing into a multi sport brand.
In preparation, the company has expanded its manufacturing
capabilities, and invested in stockholding and processes so that it
can provide a faster order turnround.
Jason said: "I have always felt that Stash was the best brand in
the business so it's great to be joining it at a time when it is
moving to the next level.
"I am looking forward to helping make the brand more accessible.
I have started with a focus on the UK operation, and have my sights
set on starting up an overseas team in the medium term."
Stash Sportswear was set up in 2002, with a new management team
put in place early in 2010 to ensure robust financial management
and secure investment for its future development.
