Nottingham law firm Rothera Dowson has signalled the expansion
of its commercial property team by promoting Neil Etherington to
partner.
In his new role, Neil, who has 10 years experience with some of
the leading law firms in the region, will now become more involved
in the management of the team, as well as interacting with new and
existing clients securing new instructions.
Starting his career at Harvey Ingram in Leicester, Neil also
worked for Geldards, Howes Percival and Flint Bishop before joining
Rothera Dowson three years ago.
Neil says: "I am relatively new back to the Nottingham market so
I bring a fresh approach to Rothera Dowson and I have already
cultivated some interesting clients and contacts since returning to
the city."
Rothera Dowson's commercial property team acts for a wide range
of clients from across Nottinghamshire and the Midlands, including
retailers, leisure industry companies, ecclesiastical clients,
educational establishments and those in the service industries.
Tom Redgate, head of the commercial property team and a Chambers
UK Legal Directory leader in his field, believes his team are best
placed to take advantage of a recovering market, he says: "We've
grown the commercial property team organically with a strong base
of long-term clients, with the help of great professionals like
Neil.
"We believe that in his new role, Neil will help us to extend
that growth curve further without losing track of the quality focus
that has been our benchmark."
Neil's promotion follows Rothera Dowson's appointment of a new
junior fee earner in its commercial property department.
Living in north Leicestershire, Neil enjoys watching the
Leicester Tigers, and is a keen badminton and football
player.
