Midlands multi temperature supply chain and logistics specialist, Oakland International, has been selected by Co. Donegal based Island Seafoods Limited to store, pick and distribute the firm's smoked fish products, via Oakland's Dublin depot to two major Irish retailers.

As a family owned company based in Killybegs, Co Donegal, Island Seafoods Ltd. has processed various types of fish from farmed salmon and trout, to mackerel, herring, roe and prawns to the European wholesale sector for over 23 years. In the last two years they have been developing a range of smoked mackerel products for the domestic retail sector which they now have listed with a number of retailers.
