Up to 200 jobs could be created at one of the most prestigious
industrial parks in Birmingham, according to the firm appointed to
market the site.
The jobs will be created once two large warehouse units have
been let out to tenants at Meteor Park in Aston, which is being
marketed by the Birmingham office of Cushman & Wakefield
alongside DTZ and Knight Frank.
Meteor Park is a new industrial/warehouse scheme, situated on
Argyle Street within half a mile of Junction 6 of the M6, and
consists of four units, two of which have been already let, to
Fourstar Employment and Skills and PHS Datasafe.
The two remaining units are of 58,609 sq ft and 115,067 sq ft,
and have been built to a very high specification. They both include
an industrial/warehouse area, and an office area that has gas
central heating, carpeted floors and category II lighting. The
warehouse areas have three phase electricity, and both level and
dock access doors.
The smaller unit is thought to be the only brand new property of
its size and type currently available in Birmingham.
Meteor Park is owned by commercial property investment and
development company SEGRO and Cushman & Wakefield industrial
partner David Binks said: "SEGRO is Europe's leading provider of
flexible business space and Meteor Park is one of the most
prestigious industrial agency appointments in Birmingham, so all
round we are very pleased to be on-board with this site."
