After successfully completing the sale of the 66,000 sq ft Bunny
Trading Estate in Nottinghamshire, Innes England has been retained
by the new owners to manage the site.
The sale of the estate was completed earlier this year. The new
owner is The Appliance Warehouse (Midlands) Limited Executive
Retirement Benefits Scheme which is a tenant on the estate and a
well known retailer of kitchen appliances to the public and
trade.
James McArthur of Innes England said: "I am pleased that our
services have been retained. Historically the estate has been
challenging to manage. We are looking forward to working closely
with the directors of the pension scheme to ensure that we continue
to improve the estate and the client's investments."
In all, the estate measures 66,403 sq ft and has 15 units. The
Appliance Warehouse, which set up in 1986, is based on the estate
along with a number of others including Fine Finish Furniture
Limited and Bridgford Pressings Limited. There is one unit
available measuring 1086 sq ft which Innes England is currently
marketing.
Since being retained on the management of the trading estate,
Innes England have been able to introduce a service charge to
ensure that the site is kept in order moving forward.
"Our client has invested in the clearing of the estate of trade
rubbish which had accumulated on the site for decades," said James.
"The clearing of the site has now opened up a space of around 1.5
acres for land rentals.
"Scott Osbourne of the Innes England Nottingham office is
dealing with a stone masonry firm relating to part of the land, but
a deal is not yet complete."
Paul Kemp, director of the Appliance Warehouse pension scheme
said: "I have retained Innes England to manage the site. We are
working together to make it an attractive proposition for other
tenants
"By improving the site, we ourselves have been able to grow our
business and extend our premises."
