consultancy group, is the latest global organisation to sign up to
FB Wills Direct, the innovative 'at a distance' will writing
service created by Midlands law firm Flint Bishop.
The Zurich-based deVere Group has signed up to FB Wills Direct,
Flint Bishop 's award-winning 'at a distance' service, which
streamlines the will writing process by enabling people to prepare
a will at their convenience from anywhere in the World - without
having to visit a solicitor.
deVere's extensive client base of 50,000 clients worldwide will
now join an audience of more than four million people who can
access the service via 20 plus national organisations, including
such high profile names as Oxfam, Breast Cancer Care, The British
Medical Association, The Children's Mutual and The Land
Registry.
deVere recently carried out a survey amongst expatriates and
international investors, and found that over 50% of them do not
have a will, while 70% were not familiar with the different types
of wills available. Only 57% of those who have a will were
initially advised by a wills specialist. Furthermore, 21% of them
got married, divorced or have had children since they first took
out a will, which could mean their existing will is revoked or
doesn't reflect their current wishes. Writing a will is an
important process to go through to protect your assets, no matter
where people live in the world.
Flint Bishop will now provide comprehensive advice and
assistance on creating personalised wills for deVere's clients' UK
based assets wherever their residence may be. They will also be
offered advice should a will be required for assets in their
country of residency, outside of the UK.
