The drpgroup has completed one of the toughest 30th anniversary
challenges it set for itself by picking up 30 awards this year. The
group picked up its 30th accolade at the IVCA Livecom Awards held
at The Brewery, in Chiswell Street, London, on 9th December, aptly
winning the 30th prize for the Thirty 30s initiative itself.
Throughout the year, the group has picked up industry awards,
awards from clients and individual awards for its people.
The group set the awards target at the beginning of 2010 as part
of its 30th anniversary initiative, the drpgroup Thirty 30s, and
saw it as one of the toughest challenges of the coming year. The
previous record for award wins in a year by the group was 16 so
picking up almost double that took a lot of dedication and
commitment from the entire team.
In the last couple of months, the group enjoyed a flurry of wins
which saw it pick up the four LiveCom awards mentioned above, The
CorpComms award for Best Live Event and gold for Best CSR
Initiative at the Eventia Awards, managing director Dale Parmenter
also placed eighth on the Event 100 Club list of the most
influential figures in the industry.
Commenting on the completion of the challenge, Dale said:
"Thirty awards to win in a year such as this is tough by anyone's
standards. What delights me most is that we have won such a wide
range of awards, for our business, for our projects, for our team
and for our CSR and environmental initiatives. It was particularly
apt that we picked up our 30th award for the Thirty 30 initiative
itself."
