Innes England is celebrating the strengthening of its team after
two graduate surveyors have become members of the Royal Institute
of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) and two new trainees have joined the
firm.
Kirsty Scott and Chris Page have both achieved a first time pass
in the Assessment of Professional Competence to become elected
members of the RICS, which consists of a two to three year period
of structured training.
This is the latest success for Innes England's RICS accredited
training programme, which runs across the firms three regional
offices in Derby Leicester and Nottingham.
After completing a year's work placement at Innes England in
2007/2008, Kirsty joined the asset management team in 2009 after
graduating from Nottingham Trent University.
Kirsty says: "After my original work experience placement at
Innes England, I knew I wanted to come back after graduating. I
have been given a lot of support and practical experience
throughout my training here, which really helped me in preparation
for the final APC interview. I am now looking forward to my future
career here."
Chris joined Innes England in 2008 after previously working as a
land manager in the house building industry for five years, where
he purchased land for residential developments. Chris is now based
at the Leicester office and works within the agency and management
departments.
New recruits Ben Meynell and Giles Davis have also been welcomed
to the ever growing firm, as graduate trainees, adding strength to
the professional service and agency teams in the Nottingham office.
Giles joins the firm with a degree in real estate management from
Oxford Brooks University and Ben with a degree in land management
from the University of Reading,
Tim Garratt, director at Innes England, commented: "We have
always believed in nurturing home grown talent and are delighted
for Chris and Kirsty. We feel that by supporting our trainees
throughout their studies, they are able to grow in confidence and
build strong relationships with both other team members as well as
clients. They have both made an invaluable contribution to the
business and the RICS accreditation is a very significant step in
their career progression."
"We are also pleased to welcome Ben and Giles as new trainees.
The success of previous traineeships in the past has been
encouraging and I have no doubt that they will both be great assets
to the firm."
