Nottinghamshire-based DDC Outsourcing Solutions has announced
its entry into the UK general insurance market, following
authorisation by the Financial Services Authority. The company will
initially specialise in outbound telesales servicing on
non-advisory products.
Colin Gray, Managing Director of DDC OS said:
"We are delighted to receive FSA authorisation, it is something
that we have been working towards since the start of the year and
we are in active negotiations with a range of general insurance
providers including brokers and insurance companies interested in
our Contact Centre offering. Authorisation reflects the high
standards we employ in every part of the business."
DDC OS recently appointed Contact Centre Director Maria Opuni
from Direct Dialogue and Tracie Webster as Senior Client
Relationship Manager, who will lead the fast growing company's
development in the general insurance sector.
Maria believes the authorisation will usher in a 'new era' for
DDC OS:
"The authorisation means that we are now able to significantly
develop our services to encompass the sale of financial services
products to a broad customer base. This will add a whole new string
to our bow and provide much needed jobs in the region. It is
exciting times within DDC OS.
"The FSA strap-line 'Treating Customers Fairly' is a concept
deeply engrained in the ethics of DDC OS and we are looking forward
to working in partnership with insurers to ensure the highest level
of customer service and productivity possible."
Colin added:
"FSA approval will enable us to attract established and
respected insurance brands who are seeking fresher ways of
improving efficiency and service whilst reducing costs. The entire
team has worked hard, thoroughly earning the recognition of the FSA
and we are looking forward to further growth in 2011."
