Stafford based CP Automated Lighting (Northern) Ltd has just
completed the installation of a new lighting system for all
communal areas of the LG Arena in Birmingham.
The work was part of the concert venues £29million
redevelopment last year and provided concourse areas with scene
setting lighting effects that can be centrally controlled.
The LG Arena is one of the largest arenas in the UK with a
capacity of 15,700 and hosts concerts from some of the worlds
leading artists together with staging other major events.
"We were very proud to be invited by electrical consultants
Hulley and Kirkwood of Birmingham to propose a lighting control
system for the Arena. The overall development is hugely impressive
and our lighting system assists in offering an ambient atmosphere
than can be changed to match the lighting required for each event,"
said James Hart, Project Director of CP Automated Lighting.
"CP supply and commission intelligent fully addressable
automated lighting control systems for private and public sector
construction projects throughout the UK and the involvement with
the Arena illustrates our flexibility to work on projects of all
sizes and in different market sectors," added James.
The company is an approved system partner of CP Electronics, one
of the UK's most innovative and respected manufacturers of lighting
and heating control products.
