Richard Williams has recently been appointed a Relationship
Director at Barclays Corporate in the East Midlands.
Richard will be responsible for a number of clients across
Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire concentrating in particular on the
professionals sector which includes solicitors, architects,
insurance brokers and accountants.
Richard joins Barclays after twenty five years with The Royal
Bank of Scotland and NatWest - the last thirteen of which were
spent in the corporate and commercial finance arena predominantly
in Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire.
Commenting on his appointment, Richard said: "It is great to
have the chance to move to Barclays Corporate continuing in an area
in which I have worked for many years. Barclays is showing
its commitment to SMEs in the region by growing its team of
Relationship Directors and I am delighted to be a part of this. My
main objective is to grow Barclays' competitive position,
particularly in the professionals sector".
Richard is married to Natalie and has two young children.
