A local marketing agency has shown their support to a
Worcestershire charity by celebrating their first year in
business.
Worcester based NinetyFive Creative held a coffee morning on
Friday 29 October to mark their first birthday. Existing clients
and neighbouring businesses were invited to join the celebrations
in exchange for a donation to Maggs Day Centre in
Worcester.
As well as raising money, the event supported the Maggs Clothing
Project with a number of guests donating old items of clothing,
small household items and sleeping bags.
NinetyFive Creative's Managing Director Matt Lloyd said: "Having
seen the work that Maggs do, we're really pleased that we chose to
work with them. We had a great turn out to the coffee morning and
consequently the support shown for Maggs, and the clothing project
in particular, was fantastic."
Maggs provide support to anyone who is homeless, isolated, or
lonely across Worcestershire. As well as the clothing project, they
also run a free-access day centre in Worcester, an outreach and a
support service, and a night centre during the coldest weeks of the
year.
Mel Kirk, Temporary Manager at Maggs Day Centre, added: "Our
thanks go out to NinetyFive Creative for choosing to support us.
They've done a fantastic job in raising awareness of the different
ways in which people can show their support. Their clothing
donation alone will make a real difference to those in need."
NinetyFive Creative was formed just over 12 months ago by
directors Matt Lloyd and Ben Barnes, who met while studying at
Worcester College of Technology's School of Art and Design back in
1995. The dynamic duo now employ a team of people and provide a
full range of design and marketing services, including web design,
design for print, campaign management and brand
development.
