One of Lincolnshire's leading social media specialists has
launched the county's first dedicated social media training and
management consultancy.
Pavillion is offering one-to-one coaching, group workshops and
seminars covering all aspects of social media use including
blogging and podcasts and networks such as Facebook and
Twitter.
Celia Lacy, the founder of Pavillion, aims to provide simple and
concise workshops which cut through all the technical jargon often
associated with new media, enabling even the most technologically
challenged to gain a clear understanding.
Their first seminar, which takes place on Wednesday 24th
November at the Cathedral Centre in Lincoln, will offer an
introduction to the whole concept of social media, examining its
history, the principals and the benefits.
Celia believes individuals and businesses who haven't already
embraced social media need to do so if they are to compete in an
ever-evolving business world.
"Social media is now a fundamental and highly effective way of
marketing any successful business or brand," said Celia.
"The ways in which businesses are communicating with each other
and their stakeholders is dramatically changing.
"More and more are turning to social media tools such as
Facebook and Twitter to engage with their customers. And whilst
many people use social media on a personal basis, the etiquette in
using these social networks for business can be quite
different.
"Pavillion will show you how to embrace this exciting and
powerful method of communication and turn it into a cost-effective
marketing tool for your business. Our workshops will be easy to
understand, interactive but most of all fun."
Celia has a strong background in digital marketing, having spent
the past three years heading up the e-marketing team at Visit
Lincolnshire.
This new venture enables her to concentrate on helping other
businesses in the East Midlands to enjoy the many benefits that
'tweeting' and using other forms of social media can bring.
Tickets for the half-day seminar cost just £50 per
delegate and include refreshments and lunch. Registration commences
at 9.15am and the seminar will finish at 12.30pm for lunch. All
tickets must be booked in advance. To book please visit
