West Midlands based family firm, Resolve Information Technology,
specialists in home-working and green IT solutions, has taken
delivery of a new company vehicle designed with both customers and
energy efficiencies in mind.
The cheeky Toyota IQ can do in excess of 65mpg from its 996cc
petrol engine, and thanks to its ultra-low emission status, is
totally exempt from UK road tax.
Tim Winstanley, Resolve director and business founder,
commenting on the company's car purchase said: "The IQ forms part
of our overall carbon reduction and energy efficiency strategy.
Offering a high-tech look and feel, our young technical team will
enjoy driving it, whilst delivering low emissions and high mileage
per litre of fuel used. Both made it the ideal method of transport
to support our expanding customer base."
Adding further, Tim said: "We are always keen to utilise green
technology wherever possible, working with our customers to install
energy efficient systems such as server virtualization, through to
smart power adapters which simply turn off unused sockets and
speakers when the PC is switched off. Simple and highly effective
in reducing energy wastage."
Known for cost effective and energy efficient systems and solar
power IT technology, Resolve is becoming the green IT choice. Who
knows what energy efficient device they will turn their attention
to next?
