Hucknall-based schoolwear supplier Price & Buckland today
launches a new sister website, PB Hoodie Studio, solely dedicated
to selling personalised hoodies after witnessing a massive surge in
sales over the past two years. Since introducing the garments to
their range in 2008, Price & Buckland has seen sales soar from
254 to 10,657 in 2010.
Anthony Buckland, Price & Buckland's joint MD, commented:
"We're thrilled with the success of our hoodies and the launch of
our new site is an effective way for us to meet demand,
particularly as online shopping continues to grow."
PB Hoodie Studio has been specifically designed with a
step-by-step guide so visitors can easily choose the garments they
want with their desired design. Its simple layout and site
navigation mean visitors can quickly find what they want and
reduces the possibility of them leaving the site.
Price & Buckland originally added the hoodies to its range
to target school leavers. However, their huge popularity has seen
the company expand its customer base to school sports teams and
pupils going on educational trips.
"We recognise that school uniform trends are changing so we
manufacture our garments so they're modern and up-to-date with the
latest styles. Students love the fact that they can wear a trendy
hoodie at school, on trips and at competitions and events. Plus,
they can keep the garments as a memento of their time at school
when they leave.
"We will continue to sell our more traditional garments on our
original website and I'm confident PB Hoodie Studio will help
generate more sales next year," concluded Buckland.
The hoodies come in a range of colours and include embroidery
and printing that are tailor-made to pupils' requirements. A wide
range of sizes are available to fit teenagers and younger
children.
