The Shrewsbury and Telford Hospital NHS Trust has selected
21,731 sq ft of commercial space at St. Modwen's Queensway Business
Park in Telford as the location for a new sterilisation
facility.
The Hospital Trust has signed a 20 year lease for the space
which extends across four units. St. Modwen has also secured the
£1,450,000 sale of the investment in the property to a
private investor.
Jonathan Green, surveyor for St Modwen commented: "We are
delighted that The Shrewsbury and Telford Hospital NHS Trust has
selected Queensway Business Park as the location for its new
facility. The park continues to meet the requirements of a truly
diverse range of businesses, demonstrating the successful delivery
of highly flexible space here and in turn fuelling the growth of
this thriving new commercial location."
Located adjacent to the A442 Queensway, four miles north of
Telford town centre, the 20-acre self-contained Queensway Business
Park site has proven popular with businesses looking for secure,
well-managed space in the Telford area with good links to the
motorway network.
The park is divided into three phases with existing tenants
including Chips Away, Lisec UK, Armo, C S Mirrors and E- Know.net.
Phase One offers 17,000 sq ft of offices which were previously sold
to Geko and a further 43,000 sq ft of industrial-warehouse space
across four individual units. Phase Two comprises 78,000sq ft of
employment space across 15 units, ranging in size from 2,500 sq ft
to 20,000 sq ft, while Phase Three offers further development land
which could accommodate a bespoke unit of around 80,000 sq ft or a
number of smaller units. Both Phase One and Phase Two of the park
have just one unit remaining, a 11,374 sq ft and 7,028 sq ft
property, respectively.
