Stratford-upon-Avon law firm Lodders is celebrating after its
Private Client and Agricultural divisions receive outstanding
rankings in the legal industry's top annual reports.
Both the Legal 500 and Chambers & Partners place Lodders at
the top of their rankings for the West Midlands area.
The Legal 500 describes Lodders as a strong player in the region
and gives its private client department a Tier One rating for its
work in personal tax, trusts and probate work. Partner Martin
Green, who heads the department, is noted as "technically
excellent" whilst Stephen Brignull, a tax specialist, has "a very
good eye for detail."
Meanwhile, the latest edition of the Chambers Guide ranks
Lodders a Band One firm for its agriculture and rural affairs
work.
The firm has a "well-founded practice with extensive
agricultural knowledge," says Chambers, which adds: " The
agricultural team handles a range of matters, including sales and
purchases, farm business tenancies, minerals work, and succession
planning and restructuring. The firm also has a good reputation for
contentious work."
Senior partner David Lodder, who leads the group, has strong
links to the Country Land & Business Association and is praised
for his knowledge of the Single Payment Scheme.
Chambers awards the private client team Band Two status, again
praising Martin Green and Stephen Brignull for being "superbly
creative" and "a brilliant technician" respectively.
The Agriculture Team is given a Tier Two ranking by The Legal
500.
The Legal 500 and Chambers & Partners are widely recognised
as providing independent, accurate and reliable judgments on the
capabilities of law firms.
Lodders' managing Partner Rod Bird said "We have always prided
ourselves on the quality of the service we offer to clients in all
circumstances. We are delighted that this has been recognised
by the Legal 500 and Chambers & Partners."
