success after securing the Kawasaki British Superbikes race team as
her first major client.
Kelly Oliver-Wilcox has teamed up with Nick Morgan, team
principal of MSS Colchester Kawasaki, to provide him with essential
business support services after she launched Pocket-pa - a new
virtual assistance company.
As a life-long fan of motorsport, the 29-year-old businesswoman
is excited at the prospect of working alongside Nick and his team,
including top riders Simon Andrews and Gary Mason, as her new
venture begins to get into top gear.
Kelly, from Telford, Shropshire, said: "I'm a massive fan of
British Superbikes and it's a fantastic thrill to have Nick and his
team as my first client. I am very excited to be providing them
with all the business support they need.
"Nick has earmarked numerous projects for me to handle,
including drawing up itineraries for race meetings and a lot of
activity surrounding the team."
Nick said: "Pocket-pa joined forces with the MSS Team mid-season
at Mallory Park back in June and since then the relationship has
gone from strength to strength. It has been a pleasure to work with
Kelly and we have undertaken some major projects in the last four
months with some very successful outcomes."
Kelly's Pocket-pa services include event planning, corporate
hospitality, The Pocket-party Planner, research, compiling
databases, scheduling, book-keeping, word processing, preparing
Powerpoint presentations, translation services and a concierge
service. She has over eight years' extensive PA experience at
director level, with excellent organisation and planning skills.
For the past three years she worked as bid manager for a FTSE 100
company winning tenders with bid values of over £5
million.
Kelly said Pocket-pa virtual assistance provides a fully
comprehensive, online, flexible entrepreneurial business service
tailor made for each individual client. The versatile support is of
exceptional quality at an affordable price. She is also developing
the events side of the business, launching Pocket-party planner.
She has built a team of experts to work with clients to ensure
their corporate and social events are a stress-free success.
Since launching Pocket-pa business has grown rapidly and Kelly
has secured two more key clients. Bibby Wines (UK) Ltd, which has a
vineyard in New Zealand and a base in the UK, is a thriving
family-run fine wine company. Kelly is working alongside directors
Andy and Cilla Bibby providing support services at a key moment in
the development of the business.
Andy said: "When we met by chance at a wedding in Devon, I knew
then Kelly had the professional ability to help us grow Bibby Wines
with integrity and the will to succeed. Cilla and I are both
delighted with the support Kelly has given us thus far and hope we
can strengthen that relationship whilst Bibby Wines continues to
increase its sales momentum in the UK, Ireland and
Scandinavia."
She is also providing vital support for Leamington Spa-based
international motivational speaker, performance coach and
best-selling author Bernie de Sousa, of the Global Coaching
Company. Kelly has become part of his events team running his
business seminars, meeting and greeting guests, taking payments and
selling tickets for future events.
Bernie said: "The benefits that our company has gained from
working with Kelly are many, including having the professional
confidence to share our top clients with her, her excellent support
service at our events, the professional and punctual way in which
she handles our writing needs and her discipline in working to
deadlines."
Kelly added: "I never dreamed that business would take off so
quickly. It is a real privilege to work with my clients - I find
them inspiring and motivating and I know that this is just the
start for Pocket-pa."
