Jephson Homes Housing Association staff have been digging out their knitting needles for a good cause.

Staff at the Association's Leamington office have together knitted over 180 small hats.

Resident Involvement Officer Helen Barnsley said: "The staff really wanted to contribute to this campaign - people were knitting hats and pom poms in their spare time and we managed to knit over 180 in quite a small time frame!  Family and friends were also keen to help and it was fabulous to see a small pile of hats grow each day.  There were all kinds of designs and colours - it was great. We'll aim to do 200 next year."

Each of the hats will be put onto bottles of Innocent Smoothies that Sainsburys and Boots will sell on for the Big Knit campaign to raise money for Age UK.  They are on sale now.

For each bottle sold money will be given to Age UK to help keep people warm at winter.
