While many firms continue to scale back their graduate
programmes, national commercial property consultancy Lambert Smith
Hampton (LSH) has recruited two new members to its Nottingham
office in response to increased demand for its services.
Nick Hammond - a graduate of Nottingham Trent University with a
2:1 degree in Estate Management - has joined the Professional team,
where he deals with landlord and tenant matters, valuations and
rent reviews on behalf of a number of major clients including Henry
Boot Development, Mapeley, Telereal Trillium and Tui UK. He
previously worked for DTZ's Valuation team in Prague as a graduate
surveyor, and prior to that, Nottingham-based Hillcrest Properties
and Lloyd Wright Chartered Surveyors. Nick has also recently
gained an MSc in International Finance at the Nottingham Business
School.
Will Bradley - a graduate of Northumbria University with a 2:1
degree in Estate Management - joined the firm's Agency team, where
he is currently assisting with instructions on behalf of a number
of major clients including A-Plant, CBRE Investors, Nottingham
Trent University and Mapeley.
Both are currently training for their APC (Assessment of
Professional Competence) in order to achieve membership of the
RICS.
This latest raft of recruitment follows a period of organic
growth by LSH's Nottingham office, which has made a series of
strategic appointments this year.
Head of Office Julian Healey said that whilst the recession had
proved challenging, it would be short-sighted not to take advantage
of the wealth of talent that is out there within the UK graduate
community. "It's important to preserve the continuity of our
high-calibre graduate recruitment programme, particularly as we
seek to respond to increased demand for our services as the economy
improves. We are therefore delighted to welcome Nick and Will
to the team, and to provide them with the opportunity to progress
their careers within LSH."
