Around sixty five businesses attended a 'Growing your Business'
seminar to hear from the Managing Director of The Directors Centre
and business guru Robert Craven. The seminar focused on the tools
and techniques vital to business success. The attendees also had a
great opportunity to network with their peer group.
Monica Mendez, Area Manager, Barclays Business in Leicestershire
said: "Local businesses are the backbone of Britain's economy and
it's important to support the ongoing efforts of local businesses
in such challenging market conditions. Business in Leicestershire
have shown their resilience through the recent down turn and this
event was organised to provide the tools to help them plan the next
stage of their development as the country pulls out of
recession."
The session took place on the Barclays Take One Small Step unit
which is touring the country providing a venue for community and
business events and acting as an interactive training hub for
Barclays employees.
