Specialist events management and communications company the
drpgroup has announced nine exciting opportunities across the
business to increase capacity and help deliver the constantly
growing number of projects coming in from clients, old and new. The
positions are available across the group's divisions with vacancies
in digital media, video, project management and technical services
and come in addition to 16 posts already created this year.
Despite pessimistic predictions of a double dip recession and
continued testing market conditions, the group's enquiry level is
at a record high for this time of year with a combination of
projects from new clients and increased work levels coming from
existing clients, fuelling the need for the growth of the team.
The drpdigitalmedia team is looking for a senior web developer
to assist on standalone digital projects as well as projects in
conjunction with the video and events teams. Digital media are also
looking for junior designer to assist the extremely busy in-house
print team.
The project management team is looking for a senior level
project manager/ conference producer to work on a range of projects
across industry sectors and drpvideo is looking for a sound
recordist, who would assist on the numerous projects and shoots the
video team carries out each week.
The drptechnicalservices team has the most vacancies available,
with a production manager, senior show technician, show technician,
warehouse servicing assistant and assistant stage and set chippie
positions all required.
The group is looking to place new starters in its Midlands
facility, at Hartlebury, with a view to expand operations in London
in 2011. Dale Parmenter, group managing director commented on the
new vacancies: "Our continued focus on developing our brand,
expanding the work we do with all our clients and attracting new
business to the group has seen us take on 16 new starters already
this year.
"In order to continue to grow at our current rate and maintain
the quality and service that is associated with the drpgroup, the
creation of new jobs is vital. We want to encourage the development
of local talent as well as recruit on a national scale, so we are
looking at various methods of recruitment for these positions,
including a brand new apprenticeship scheme, career fairs and more
traditional methods."
