An award-winning Shropshire communications company has appointed a new sales manager to lead their growing team.

Darren Fryer has joined Purecom in Shrewsbury, and is the latest addition to the team which is set to double in size in the next 18 months.

Based on the Shrewsbury Business Park, Purecom is an independent communications provider with over 30 years of industry experience behind it.

The company has seen an incredible growth in business over the year, and will be creating ten new jobs in the next 18 months.

Darren has worked in the telecommunications industry for 11 years, spending many years at BT Mobile.

Now he will lead the sales team at Purecom with a view to developing new business opportunities across the West Midlands.

Managing Director, Matt Sandford, said: "We're very pleased Darren has joined us, and his experience will be crucial as we move forward with a dynamic new team.

"He has arrived at Purecom at a very exciting time for us as we have seen such a huge increase in business despite the difficult economy, so we're keen to see him build on the business we already have and develop even more leads across the region."
