Four hard-working staff members at specialist recruitment agency
Macildowie, found they'd hit the jackpot after they earned a trip
to Las Vegas.
Arran Jaiswal, the manager of the Derby office; Claire Coombs, a
senior consultant in the Nottingham office; Jamie Draper, a senior
finance consultant from the Northampton office; and Matthew Gissing
the manager of the Northampton office all won the trip after
hitting their personal targets at the end of the last financial
year.
The quartet was accompanied by James Taylor and John Convey,
directors at Macildowie.
The company, which specialises in HR, finance, procurement and
supply chain recruitment, hit the headlines last year when it came
19th in the Sunday Times Top 100 Companies to Work For, making it
the highest placed Midlands recruitment consultancy.
Director, James Taylor said: "We know we have hard working
staff, and when they reach personal milestones, we like to reward
them. Not only does this show that we value what Arran, Claire,
Jamie and Matthew have done over the last year, it also serves as a
benchmark for what our staff can strive to - even in a
recession."
During the trip to Vegas, the four checked into the prestigious
Venezia Bella Suites, before enjoying a meal and dancing the night
away as VIP guests at the exclusive Lavo restaurant and club. On
the second day, they took in the spectacular Cirque du Soleil, and
to top it all, they even managed to get a table next to rock star
Tommy Lee at the Hard Rock Café!
Macildowie has been running these schemes, aimed at
incentivising staff during traditionally quiet periods of the year,
since 1998. As a result, members of the team have visited far-flung
destinations such as Miami, Cape Town and Dubai - all because
they've achieved their goals.
James added: "We've also run a number of other incentives during
the year, all aimed at getting the best from our excellent team.
Each year they deliver and the effects of this are not only felt in
the great work environment, but also in the service levels to
clients.
