A thriving business park on the outskirts of Lincoln is set to
expand, bringing much-needed extra office and industrial space to
the city.
North Kesteven District Council has granted planning permission
for phase four of Lincoln Enterprise Park on the A46 south of the
city, and work is due to start on the additional four office units
and three industrial units in the New Year.
Lincoln Enterprise Park has been extensively developed over the
last three years and is now one of Lincoln's leading industrial
parks.
Phase four of the five-acre development will provide a further
406m² (4,388 square feet) of serviced office space and 618
m² (6,647square feet) of industrial space.
Nick Falkinder, a Director of Lincoln Enterprise Park, said the
development of phase four would be a boost for the local business
community.
"The business park is in a perfect location for new and
established businesses and we've been tremendously encouraged by
its success so far," he said.
"All of the units in phases one, two and thee have been sold or
occupied and we're sure that the demand is there for phase
four.
"By investing in the city in this way we're making a clear
statement of confidence in Lincoln's economy and we're sure that
there'll be plenty of interest in the new units."
Lincoln Enterprise Park offers easy access to the A1 / M1
corridor and the East Coast Main Line as well as extensive car
parking facilities and practical and flexible business units.
The office space will be available to buy freehold in entire
units or on a floor-by-floor basis. They will feature a
high-quality, aesthetically pleasing design and can be fitted out
to the occupier's exact requirements.
The industrial units will be of steel framed construction and
will feature half-clad half brick elevations, a single loading door
and separate pedestrian access with a glass canopy leading to
office accommodation.
