Last Choir Standing corporate event hosted by Postcode Anywhere recently at Malvern Theatres, proved that Worcestershire has talent as choirs representing the county businesses received a standing ovation.

Presenting an opportunity for the theatre staff to perform on their own stage, the Malvern Theatres' choir wowed judges with their lively and harmonious soul medley and won the much coveted Postcode Anywhere Last Choir Standing Corporate Event 2010 trophy.

Coming a close second was Louise Hewitt and her Worcestershire Ambassadors who secured the runners-up trophy for their spiritual performance of I Will Follow Him from Sister Act, dressed in habits and wimples.

Other stars of the show included Thursfields Solicitors who were awarded the Judges special prize with their sophisticated Bond Medley followed by the Worcester Warriors who received a commendation for their boy-band repertoire.

Also joining in the fun were choirs representing Ballard Dale Syree Watson, Fort Royal Community Primary School,  Leukaemia CARE, OOPS (One Off Performance Society) and of course sponsors, Postcode Anywhere.

All proceeds from the event will be given to blood cancer charity, Leukaemia CARE.
