Welcome to winter! Local wine expert Alastair MacBrayne managed to make people forget the cold weather when he launched the Dorjes Wine winter collection at The Granville in Barford.

Wines from all over the world were on show and people from all over Warwickshire turned up to try them out.

"This is a really big time of the year for wine sales," said Alastair, who runs the Warwick-based company. "The recession means that sales are going to be hard to get, but I'm delighted with this season's selection.

"The supermarkets do make it hard for smaller businesses like ours but we have a few tricks up our sleeve - we can offer expert advice as well as sourcing wines from lesser-known regions that provide great quality at the right price."
