Triplar, the Northampton-based retail display, shop fitting and
commercial interiors specialist, has continued its rapid expansion
with four new appointments.
The company, which counts Nike, Dr Martens, Nokia, Levi Strauss
and Lush among its clients, has enjoyed continued success in recent
months. The company continues to build its client base and was part
of a team that scooped a prestigious industry award from Retail
Week for work with bootmaker Dr Martens, completing the fit-out of
a highly-acclaimed 'pop-up store' in Spitalfields, London.
Since moving into a new joinery production facility last year,
the team has now grown to 20 people. The latest appointments see the
company bolster its project management team with Darryl Sweeney and
Steven McCarthy joining as project managers.
The pair brings more than two decades experience from numerous
high-profile projects. Steven arrives from SMC Interiors and was
recently part of teams that carried out the refurbishment of
Transport for London, BT and Red Bull Racing's headquarters.
Steven's first project will see him manage the fit-out of a
number of new Nike factory outlets, while Darryl, who joined from
Datum Contracts International, has already completed a number of
store fit-outs for Lush. Both roles entail full responsibility for
future projects - from initial survey to final handover.
The company has also added to its administration team, with Adam
Moreland brining several years of experience as a project
administrator, managing complex projects in the retail sector.
Matthew White completes the new hires, joining as a shop fitting
administrator to assist both project managers and site-based
foreman. He will help prepare 3D visualisations of display
equipment and create virtual shop 'tours' for prospective and
current clients.
Director Tim Rodwell said: "Working with high-profile brands
brings a degree of pressure and there is no room for error. Each of
our new team members brings experience and a passion for
excellence, and their appointments will enable us to deliver the
very best for our expanding customer base.
"With clients and projects spread across Europe, our project
managers and administrators face a complex set of challenges. Each
of the new team members has a wealth of experience that will prove
invaluable in maintaining the high standards we set and ensuring
our clients receive the best possible service.
"One of our recent projects for Dr Martens in London won at the
Retail Week Interiors Awards 2010 in the 'Pop-up store of the year'
category. The win is testament to our approach to every single
project."
