Three site managers from Loughborough-based contractor and
developer William Davis Ltd have achieved a number of awards in the
National House Building Council (NHBC) Pride in the Job Awards.
This nationwide competition, which celebrates its 30th
anniversary this year, recognises the UK's best site managers and
their individual contributions towards the production of top
quality new homes. Stringent tests encompassing 38 different
categories reduce the 13,000 site managers currently working in the
UK down to 400 Quality Award winners. Recipients of this accolade
were Russell Pitman, Martin Bottomley and Tony Armson for work on
the William Davis housing developments of Grange Park,
Loughborough; Morledge, Matlock and Cawston Fields, Rugby
respectively.

Excellence Award
In separate regional presentations, both Martin and Tony were
presented with Seal of Excellence Awards in the medium builder
category, for companies with an annual output of between 51 and
1000 new homes. Tony was then selected as the West Regional winner
and will progress forward to the Supreme Awards in January 2011,
where he hopes to successfully defend his crown for the third
consecutive year.
Mark Stevenson, production director, William Davis said:
"Russell, Martin and Tony's collective successes in these awards
proves that even against this challenging economic backdrop,
William Davis site managers do not compromise on quality and our
homes are built to the highest standards. Everyone at the company
is extremely proud of their achievements and wish Tony the best of
luck for his 'hat trick' of Supreme Awards."
William Davis is building a comprehensive range of homes at its
Grange Park, Cawston Fields and Morledge developments suitable for
all lifestyles.
