The Derby Conference Centre has been selected as a new training
venue for learning and development company pearcemayfield. The
company, which already uses training venues in Oxfordshire and
London, was keen to widen its offering to existing and new clients
in the Derbyshire and wider East Midlands region.
Burton on Trent based training consultant, John Edmonds, who is
Head of Training and Innovation at pearcemayfield says: "In the
current business climate of cutbacks and budget decreases, we want
to make life as easy as possible for our customers by taking our
service to them."
Pearcemayfield selected the Conference Centre, which is situated
on the outskirts of Derby, not just for its excellent facilities
but for its tranquil surroundings, which are ideal to help
delegates both concentrate and relax in equal measures. John
Edmonds explains: "From December, we will be offering our acclaimed
PRINCE2 project management Practitioner training course at the
Derby Conference Centre, which takes place over five days. There's
a lot of information for delegates to retain in a short space on
time, so it's important that the learning atmosphere is right."
John Edmonds is the only training professional in the country
who helped to author the latest version of PRINCE2.
