A Lichfield company which has expanded with the creation of new
jobs invited a special guest along to the official ribbon cutting
ceremony of its high-tech new premises.
Lichfield MP Michael Fabricant officially opened Dyne Technology
Limited's new premises at Newton House in Parkside Court, last
Friday.
The ambitious company which provides special surface treatment
equipment, systems and solutions for companies manufacturing
plastic, rubber or metal components, has recently moved to its new
larger premises from Elmhurst Business Park.
Dyne Technology has created two new jobs with the move and four
more positions look set to be created with a planned further
expansion.
Customers and businesses which have helped support the company
and enabled it to become the success story it is today were also
invited to the special event.
Mr Fabricant was given a tour of the company's new premises and
was able to see close up some of the hi-tech equipment which Dyne
Technology Limited uses.
The company provides plasma, corona and flame treatment and a
large range of surface testing equipment to some of the world's
largest manufacturing companies.
These include Red Bull Formula One, Aston Martin, Rolls Royce,
Hewlett-Packard, Dyson, Nokia, Magna and Sony Ericsson to name but
a few.
Mr Fabricant hailed the success of the company which has grown
at a phenomenal rate since the company was started by Managing
Director Chris Lines in 2006.
Mr Fabricant cut the ribbon outside the new premises and then
unveiled a plaque inside to mark the momentous event.
Mr Fabricant said: "Dyne Technology is a real success story. The
company has just gone from strength to strength.
"I was delighted to be invited to officially open its new
premises and I wish the company all the luck for the future.
"Dyne Technology has bucked the trend and is living proof of how
businesses can grow and become a success story even in difficult
economic times. They are a shining example for other businesses to
follow."
Mr Lines added: "We were honoured to have Mr Fabricant come
along to open our new premises and we were delighted that our
customers and local suppliers came to the official opening to mark
this important stage in our development.
"We are an ambitious company with further expansion planned
which will involve the creation of more highly skilled jobs.
"2010 has been a great year for Dyne Technology and the
prospects for the future look exciting."
