Staff at Midlands-based Oakland International, have raised an
incredible £5,000 after taking part in a sponsored skydive
for local children's charity Acorns Children's Hospice.
After their 'jump of a lifetime' the Oakland Team are delighted
with their personal as well as sponsorship achievement. Speaking on
behalf of the team, Keith Davies said: "We're all over the moon
that we managed to jump out of the plane, and that with help from
suppliers, staff customers, supporters we've raised
£5,000."
A specialist in the supply chain arena of warehousing and
logistics, Oakland previously raised £1,000 via an 'It's a
Knockout Challenge' and is now determined that the sky isn't their
limit.
Team members in Oakland's skydive included Keith Davies, Lisa
Lloyd-Smith, Kazik Libront, Yvette Hannon and Ben Ford.
Said Keith: "We're now just wondering what we should do
next?"
