A local firm is celebrating its most successful twelve months
yet following its move into new premises exactly three years
ago.
Telford-based JBS Waste Management Ltd moved its head office
from its old premises in Walsall to its new site at the
E-Innovation Centre in Priorslee in 2007 and has since achieved
increasing success, not only attracting business from the likes of
John Lewis and IKEA, but seeing its workforce expand across the
organisation.
The waste and environmental management consultancy works with
clients across many sectors to help them analyse their current
procedures and implement a bespoke action plan, covering anything
from general recycling collections to advanced services such as the
disposal of hazardous waste.
Currently managing 300,000 tonnes of waste per year, reducing
the amount of rubbish sent to landfill, the firm enables more than
600 clients across the UK and Ireland to boost recycling levels,
increase efficiency and slash their waste bills.
John Neill, Operations Director at JBS Waste, commented: "Since
our move to new premises three years ago, we have had huge success
and would like to thank the local and surrounding communities for
their support which has enabled us to develop and grow.
"We have secured some prestigious contracts over the past twelve
months and, despite the economic downturn, supporting our clients
to cut their waste bills has undoubtedly helped them emerge
relatively unscathed from such a difficult period."
JBS Waste Management Ltd is a completely independent waste and
environmental management consultancy specialising in strategies to
divert waste away from landfill with the overall aim of increasing
recycling, improving environmental performance and reducing
clients' waste costs. The company manages a diverse range of waste
streams across a wide variety of business and commercial sectors,
and continues to invest heavily in the development of alternative
waste technologies.
