Seminar in Shropshire offers businesses best exit strategy

Business owners in Shropshire interested in finding out more about how to maximise their exit from their company and make the right financial decisions in retirement are invited to take part in a free seminar.

'How to Maximise your exit and will you outlive your money or will your money outlive you' is a seminar aimed at showing businesses how to maximise their exit and it will guide business owners through the processes of sale and how best to prepare for retirement in advance.

The seminar is being run by accountants DJH Accountants Ltd and financial advisors DJH Financial Solutions Ltd at the Business Growth Show being held on 12 October at the Holiday Inn, Telford and the seminar will run from 1pm-2pm.

DJH Accountants speaker Steve Timmis comments: "You should consider your Exit Strategy from Day 1!  The common perception is to run your business for 20 years and sell it when you reach your 50s ………wrong!  Most businesses are sold at poor value in a reactive sale, usually when the owner gets fed up, is too old, or worst still dies."

Fellow speaker, Richard Johnston of DJH Financial Solutions adds: "Exit Planning is not just about selling your business, pensions and investments. It is about ensuring you have enough money to know when you can stop what you no longer enjoy doing and start doing the things you really love.

Most clients therefore ask how much is enough?  We hope this seminar will go some way to answering some of those questions to ensure that you have enough money to fund your retirement."
