Midlands-based firm, Resolve Information Technology, has secured
a significant contract to supply a complete new server system and
phone system and all very close to home.
Local printers Graham Signs, a close business neighbour to
Resolve and based directly below the firm's offices, engaged the
convergence solutions specialist to provide a robust system that
would not just deliver, but would provide an enhanced system to
rival any business locally or regionally.
Resolve Information Technology director, Tim Winstanley stated:
"We were all absolutely delighted to have won the contract to
support Graham Signs' expansion. Due to their substantial growth
and increase in employee numbers, extending their IT and telecoms
capabilities to handle greater volumes of printing and sign
production was paramount."
Presenting a particular challenge, due to Graham's vast array of
specialist printing equipment, linked-in with their existing
computer technology, it all needed incorporating in to one single
new network. Graham Signs director, Bruce Graham, stated: "Over the
last 12 months, our business has seen considerable growth. Whilst
in itself this is a great success story for our team, it does
however bring significant challenges, with IT one of the most
important factors to get right.
"Based on their proven track record, we knew Resolve could
provide a system we could manage, but also trust to undertake our
varied workload. With the server handling email and files securely
and linked with our new phone system, we now enjoy immense
flexibility, with customer data available before we even answer the
phone."
Encompassing a HP ProLiant Server with Microsoft Small Business
Server, inherent remote access to enable data retrieval by staff
when working remotely, a 3cx phone system and call logging database
facility linked to their existing ISDN lines, linked with a
protected backup system to give enhanced security, in all it will
provide the firm with major business and customer service
advantages.
Said Bruce: "This installation represents a major investment,
and a big step forward in our IT capabilities, benefitting both our
customers and our business, and with a return on investment being
achieved over a relatively short period, we are delighted."
Resolve is now in the process of developing a bespoke job
tracking database, capable of integrating both Graham's phone
system and file server to deliver additional business
productivity.
Added Tim: "The system is just what they need to take them
forward in today's competitive marketplace. A phone system which
enjoys complete voicemail capability, call queuing in times of high
demand, whilst logging all incoming and outgoing calls to improve
productivity and deliver an enhanced customer service
experience."
