A local recruitment company has announced that it's throwing its
support behind Midlands Air Ambulance.
Staff from Birmingham based Network Recruitment have marked
their support with a £1000 donation to the charity this
week.
Managing Director Ken Wood says "I've always recognised the
vital work that Midlands Air Ambulance does every day in our region
and I am extremely happy to be able to make this donation on behalf
of all the staff at Network Recruitment.
"With so much time spent on the road nowadays you never know
when you might be in need of the life-saving service that Midlands
Air Ambulance provides."
It costs Midlands Air Ambulance £25 for every minute that
the helicopter is airborne. The generous donation from Network
Recruitment will keep the air ambulance in the air for 40
minutes.
Stef Langford Brown, Corporate Fundraising Manager at Midlands
Air Ambulance says "We are extremely grateful for the support shown
towards Midlands Air Ambulance by Network Recruitment and look
forward to working with them in the future.
"The charity receives no government funding so donations from
local businesses really do help us to remain operational and
continue saving lives across the Midlands."
Ken Wood will also be supporting Midlands Air Ambulance in his
role as Conservative Councilor for Longbridge, a position he has
held for the past two years.
Since 1984 Network Recruitment has been providing a professional
consultancy specialising in engineering, manufacturing, supply
chain, food and drink sector recruitment, working with many
household national businesses.
