A Shropshire-based environmental consultancy is celebrating
going from strength to strength following a recent recruitment
round.
JBS Waste Management Ltd has taken on four new members of staff
at its Telford head office to help the company deal with a growing
demand for its services, bringing the total workforce up to 15.
Laura Walker has been brought on board as the firm's new Office
and Recycling Operations Manager, while Paul Seabury has been
appointed as National Accounts Executive. Gill Firth joins as
National Sales Executive, and Bev Bates takes on the role of
Finance Manager.
With more than 16 years experience in the waste management and
recycling sectors, Laura takes over the general day-to-day running
of the office. She has also been charged with carrying out site
audits and developing the company's existing contractor database,
enabling JBS Waste Management Ltd to tap into new recycling
markets.
Working alongside Laura to ensure that clients receive the best
possible customer service is Paul, the new National Accounts
Executive. He brings with him twenty years experience as a
civil servant for the Ministry of Defence, including 18 years
working with the British Army.
Although Paul has swapped organising equipment and weapons for
soldiers on the front line to make sure that recycling collections
take place on time, his managerial skills are proving priceless in
delivering day-to-day services efficiently for JBS's 600 plus
clients.
Also coming on-board is new Finance Manager Bev, who has worked
in accounting and administration for more than 35 years, while the
most recent recruit Gill takes on the role of National Sales
Executive, having started with the company early in October.
"We are absolutely delighted to welcome aboard four people with
such a wealth of experience in their specific fields," said John
Neill, Operations Director for JBS Waste Management Ltd. "It's been
a very busy couple of years for us, as more and more companies look
to overcome the economic downturn by improving their efficiency and
cutting their waste bills. I'm sure they will all play a major role
in our continued success in the months and years to come," he
added.
JBS Waste Management Ltd is a completely independent waste and
environmental management consultancy specialising in strategies to
divert waste away from landfill with the overall aim of increasing
recycling, improving environmental performance and reducing
clients' waste costs. The company manages a diverse range of waste
streams across a wide variety of business and commercial sectors,
and continues to invest heavily in the development of alternative
waste technologies.
