Engineer
A specialist in IT and computer support, Resolve Information
Technology has taken on their first trainee, James McKinnon, a
fourth year student at Worcester College of Technology, as part of
a major push by the firm into unified communications.
Resolve Information Technology director, Tim Winstanley stated:
"James started with us on a 1 day a week basis to gain valuable
work experience. We had no expectations other than he had a good
CV, but he was as keen as mustard and we felt that he would make a
really good addition to the Resolve Team."
Although delighted to be offered the post and relishing the
opportunity, James wanted to continue with his studies having
completed his OCR National Diploma for IT Professionals. Said
James: "I wanted to keep my college course going, something that
Resolve were keen on too, so it was agreed that I should continue
doing one day a week to complete my HNC in Computing, which is
great."
Whilst James completes his course, Malvern-based Resolve will be
busy building a structure around James to enable him to learn all
about VOIP, Networking, Microsoft Server Products and general PC
maintenance.
A convergence solutions specialist and possibly the regions
foremost one stop shop for IT and telecommunications solutions,
Resolve is an acknowledged expert offering end to end solutions
from Server's to Smartphones, including telephony contracts from O2
and Orange.
Said Tim: "With our business going from strength to strength,
the addition of James to the team is fantastic news for the
business."
