The commercial property market may be facing some of the
toughest conditions of recent times - but one Midlands firm of
commercial agents is leading by example.
Leamington-based property experts ehB Commercial has just been
named as the most active agent in the county by a leading industry
publication - Estates Gazette.
Over 60 agents in the area were automatically entered for the
award and the Clarendon Place agent came out on top after
completing more deals than any other outfit in the county with a
total of 75 transactions over a 12 month period.
The Most Active Agent Award 2010 comes on the back of host of
recent successes at the Cygnet Court development, in
Stratford-upon-Avon.
EHB has completed deals at the Timothys Bridge Road site with
Wayleaves, Zinc, Warwickshire Primary Care Trust, BCW, The Jennifer
Trust for Spinal Muscular Atrophy and Big Red Recruitment
Limited.
Retail activity in Leamington has also been buoyant with 10
retail premises let in the town centre during the last nine months
and a further six under offer. Major deals have included a letting
on Regent Street to European shoe supplier Soloro and
long-established Blaze hairdressing relocating to premises in Park
Street.
In addition, deals have also been completed at Tournament Court
in Edgehill Drive, Warwick including the letting of a 3,600sq ft
building to construction experts Rok.
Simon Hain, from ehB Commercial, said the recent success was due
to hard work rather than any recent upturn in the fortunes of the
commercial property sector.
"It is still tough out there and this success has come as a
result of hard work rather than any obvious change in market
conditions," he said.
"We are delighted to have received this award, especially when
you consider some of the competition we faced from national names
in the industry, so we are very proud to have received this sort of
recognition.
"We have a great team here at ehB Commercial and the award
really underlines this fact.
"To complete this number of deals in a relatively short time
frame shows we have an effective and efficient system in place and
we hope to continue to develop this as we strive to provide the
best possible service to our clients."
