Coventry and Warwickshire law firm, Alsters Kelley, has appointed Ally Taft as Head of Clinical Negligence and Personal Injury.

Ally joined Alsters Kelley from Birmingham firm Irwin Mitchell, where she accrued nine years experience as a clinical negligence specialist. Her work in this area is wide-ranging, including fatal cases, treatment of the elderly, surgical cases and birth injuries. She recently won a settlement for a client to the tune of £4.95m.

As well being interviewed on both radio and television about her work, a number of her cases have been reported in legal publications.

Catherine Wahlberg, Managing Partner at Alsters Kelley Solicitors said, " Ally has extensive experience in the field of clinical negligence and a very high success rate reflecting the quality of her work.

"She will provide an excellent service to our clients and has a very caring nature"

Ally said: "Alsters Kelley has a strong reputation for clinical negligence and the opportunity to head up the department is an exciting one.

"I look forward to working with my clients to achieve the best possible results for them in cases which are often complex and distressing for those involved".

Ally has achieved recognised status as a panel member of the Law Society Clinical Negligence Accreditation Scheme.

She will be based at the Leamington Spa office. The firm also has offices Coventry and Nuneaton.
